A Moment With You
If only time could for a while freeze
for this rare moment with you not to cease
so I can have more hours to read through verses
of this unending love poem published in your heart
If only time could just stay motionless
like these hills our forefathers found and left here
or at least move as slow as
the sand dunes in the kalahari desert
for this rare moment with you to perpetually exist
If this moment with you, is as perfect as it seems
I swear it deserves to be a part
of a hall of treasures within my heart
