A Million Stares, From a Million Pairs of Eyes
The pain rots me inside, like cracks in the pavement.
Home movies bring rusty old memories into focus.
As if she would become a new and improved model.
All the upgrades aren’t necessary, I loved her before.
The way god made her. Exactly. I loved her the same.
These looks that give chills, send them back, defective.
