A Memorable Christmas Eve

It was a cold and dreary Christmas Eve, the snow was deep so I couldn’t leave. I was feeling sad and a little down, most of my folks don’t live in town. I thought that maybe I could drive to see them, without a snowmobile that would be a big problem! If there is a will, there is certainly a way, perhaps I can see them by Christmas day. I decided to turn on the television set, There is nothing good on tonight I bet. I turned to a Christmas movie for a minute, it was so realistic that I felt I was in it. I was feeling tired and was fading away, I heard Santa outside with his reindeer and sleigh. I got out of my seat and opened my door, it was an amazing sight that I couldn’t ignore. Standing before me was old Saint Nick, he looked like the Santa Claus from the Christmas flick. He gestured to me with his apple red cheeks, To convince folks of this would surely take weeks! He said, “hop in my sleigh and we’ll ride out of here, Just leave it to me and my trusty reindeer.” I hopped in his sleigh and off we went, I kept telling Santa he was heaven sent. He dropped me off at my parents' place, happiness was written all over my face. I woke up from what was apparently a dream, I was still at my apartment you see what I mean? If this were true, it would be hard to believe, but this still turned out to be “a memorable Christmas Eve.”
