Notes About The Poem

A Melody Divine- Hexsonnetta

A melody divine,
transposed from outer sphere
where angels hover near
comes down in metered time:
a sweet delightful chime
so jubilant and clear.

The notes flow in my heart,
and they assuage the pain.
Mellifluous refrain
of sweet poetic art,
they make my healing start,
and bring in joy to reign.

On dulcet rhymes, I fly,
to claim poetic sky.

:) Thanks, Richard. It took a whole lot out of me, but I do like a challenge. It is Andrea's own form! Isn't that amazing???? You have your own form....I did a form that Craig used as a contest prompt. Perhaps it's time I host a contest on the Eileenette. :) Hugs
