Than to know a Soul as Poe-

I wouldn't know how to react if someone like Edgar Allan Poe told me that my poetry was great! I would be ecstatic and speechless! Poe is the reason that I became interested in poetry. So, gaining the approval from such a master would really mean that I've done something. Excellent work, I really loved this poem!

My sentiments exactly, which is what I really wanted to capture, just that thought of him possibly saying he enjoys my work. I have such a reverence for him, Shelley and Dickinson, that if any one of them were to say such a thing to me, I would die and go to that "Poet's Heaven" lol. Thanks for the review, hon :)

Your rhyme and rhythm is impeccable Archaic. I totally agree with your lovely sentiments expressed. I would feel on top of the clouds if someone like Poe liked my poetry also. Wishing you a wonderful day ahead and I await eagerly to read your next post Archaic...always.

You just made my day, my friend :D I have a gigantic book of Poe's collected work (over 1,000 pages!) and I was reading his thoughts on the "Poetic Principle" last night and was just immediately inspired to write that after reading it. Thanks for the support and encouragement, Mustapha :)
