A Man Of Composure
Though you are a man of few written words,
I feel your peace becomes part of my own,
Especially when I see you play your chords.
I feel your love in the ways it's been shown.
Though you are usually so calm and steady,
I love you even when you're sometimes mad.
Just know I too am always aware and ready
To talk you out of even what makes you sad.
Though you are my opposite in some ways,
Always remember you are my yin, my water,
For you are soothing rain for me some days.
You truly are my lover and figurative father.
Though you think you can always be so sure,
I'll always prove this love of ours is so real.
Don't worry: you're my man of composure.
Usually, your love and peace is all I can feel.
