A Majestic Cardinal

I am a majestic cardinal, a very pretty bird
With beautiful feathers crimson and bright
I like to sit on top of a white birch tree
And chirp and sing away to my delight
All the other songbirds stop and listen
Waiting, hoping for my mating call to them
My fiery red physique is seen for miles
My feathers contrasting the white bark
I proudly sing, here, here, here, here
Look at me over here, yes, here, here
Joyfully Singing, not noticing danger near
As a hawk swoops down, I freeze in fear
