A Lovers Lie

Lonely she is in her paradise sweet. Wondering where her husband is and who he meets. She is too scared to venture off into this unknown land. Things are unfamiliar and the men don’t look like gentlemen. All she can do is wait and hope. That her husband is alright but he keeps taking a lot of gold. It has been a week I have been lied to and confused. He is home now and has double the gold he used. He leaves tomorrow for another week to be gone. He left some gold and in a weeks time for sure. Her heart feels like crushed ice stuck and does not know what to do. A broken hearted soul that’s very wealthy and too scared to move.
