A Love that Feels Like Home
Underneath the stars tonight, where dreams weave through the air
I’m searching for that feeling, a hope of love somewhere
It’s that special kind of love, it makes you feel at home
roots that hold you steady, no matter where you roam
The kind that keeps you grounded, through every twist and turn
in a world that’s ever-changing, it’s the flame that always burns
I want a love that makes me crazy, for better or for worse
a story still unfolding that becomes a loving verse
Warm and funny moments, laughter in our view
it’s a love that holds you close, and knows you through and through
Did you ever see ‘The Notebook’? With passion burning bright?
Those love songs in the distance, echo through the night
That’s my kind of story, forever side by side
but dreams can feel so distant when love walks out on pride
Though now it’s just a dream, life’s winding near its end
I’ve never found a home, where the heart can truly mend
I stroll through starry nights, chasing what dreams could be
a love that lasts forever, simple, wild and free
Here’s to love that’s patient, and beauty in small things
I’ll hold onto the hope and the kind of love it brings
I’ll keep on dreaming softly, beneath the moonlit dome
for that special kind of love, that feels like I’m at home.
