A Love Divine, My Valentine
“flawless and breathless
you’re simply divine-
for there is no love
like my valentine”
like a chrysalis your love blankets me…
soft silk of solace saved my sore soul-
for there is no passion greater than ours,
and forever has been granted long ago
safe in the moment of each stroke-
promises with candy kisses,
rose petals spread out across my heart;
feeling and believing our love shall last,
as you reach my depths to rescue me
riding waves of intimate ecstasy,
leaving nothing to chance with passion-
leading me to where i always was meant to be,
with the core of your essence inside me
quarrels come and forgiveness embraces;
we need not voice the past,
for the future is ours…
and ours alone
we shall try our best to prevail when
tempests rage and waters try to drown;
but we shall always find the shore to empathy
my heart swells when you are near-
blossoming love, you nourish
growing in hope, we flourish
the kismet we shall live shall be our
fairytale written by the stars-
glowing orbs encompass us,
and the power of God keeps us safe
for I am yours and you are mine,
my love-
you will always be my valentine
