A Love Beyond Reach
Fate has snatched you away from me,
Why does it feel this way?
Whenever I see you,
Holding hands with someone else.
You were never mine,
Nor could you ever be,
Then why, foolish heart,
Can't you stop crying?
I see the moon every night,
But I can't make it mine,
In the same way, I see you every day,
But I can't make you mine.
In the rain, your soaked hair,
Every drop falling from your lips,
Your body shivering from the cold,
I wish I could shield you from the rain,
But I don't have that right.
I always stayed far away,
Could never come close,
To spend a few moments of love with you,
Remained just a dream.
