A Lone Moment

A LONE MOMENT It’s on that moment When the sky is dark blue With stars brightly shining, sparkling and twinkling While children are peacefully asleep dreaming singing ‘ twinkle twinkle little star How I wonder what you are.’ Yes! It’s that lone moment When you are just alone with your thoughts And your heart crushed by pain The pain of failure and rejection Regret and indecision That moment When you are sad,depressed,stressed And totally confused While your head is bombarded With negative thoughts The moment when you sit down alone And humble enough to listen Then He speaks And His smooth voice finds its way to your ears That says, “ my child Peace be with you I know right now your mind is full of worries And your heart is broken By your heavy burdens I know you feel your situation Cannot by any words be described But have you totally forgotten That on your heart my word is inscribed? That with my hands you were created And through your nostrils In you I breathed life See, I have loved you with an everlasting love And with loving kindness have I drawn you I will never leave nor forsake you So stop shading your precious tears Hold my hand And let me carry your burdens and fears Till time comes to an end Always remember this; All things work together For the good of those who love me, And those who are called According to my purpose.”
