A Little 'White' Lie, Wink Wink

With my white pumpkin I’m going to bake
A pumpkin pie and say it’s cheesecake
It’s “vanilla bean”
Since it’s white like cheese -
If only they’ll take the bait plate!

Unsuspecting the pumpkin inside -
I tap tap my foot, just take a bite!
With “cake” in their mouths
Their taste buds abound!
Eyebrows rising in shocked surprise!

That would be funny Susan to take a bite thinking you were getting cheesecake and getting pumpkin instead. I cannot remember if I thanked you for my win in your Cheater, Cheater Contest. But I think I did not so I am thanking you now. Thank you. And I am adding you to my list of fav's poet.
