A Little Prayer To a Special Man Harry Horsman

A Little Prayer I send to you.
To give you Hope and get you through.

 As you are facing your darkest Hour.
I pray for God's Healing Power.

 I'm trusting God to give you strength.
To bring to you, your Health Again.

 Have Strong Faith, while in this Storm.
Christ healing Grace, will find you home.

 You're in Our Hearts so far away,
Thinking of You, on this Special Day.

 While people are carrying on with their Lives.
You're in the Hospital Fighting for Your Life.

 Hang in there Harry with All Your Might.
You're in a War, but you'll Win This Fight.

You have always been a Loyal Friend.
We miss you Harry, Our Love We Send.

Michael, it's 23rd of Jan and i have just seen this wonderful heartfelt prayer for me, no one, till i came here to soup, would have done this, as a child i was abuse in chapel when savagely beaten by a relative 'lay preacher' for talking to my friend, while the congregation were in prayer. Something that as never left me, only with a hate of everything religious. Till now, you are my light my friend, and all the others folk i've become to love that have left these lovely comments. I had a different experience when I was in the fourth grade while attending a Catholic school. I was accused of something I did not do and they tried to make me feel guilty for something I did not do. It ruined my Christmas vacation. When I came back they found out who the culprit was he admited it and they apologized to me. I too had a hard time forgiving for many years. It upset me so much I left the Catholic church and went to serve Jesus with the Baptist where I am now. Harry your words touched me and I want you to know we will continue praying for you. You were missed here on the Soup and we were worried about you. When we face these storms is when we are closest to God. I hope and pray you are in comfort as of right now and also hope this illness God turns it around and brings you healing. Much love from all of us and for you to make a full recovery. Hang in there and remember Jesus is in this storm with you, He loves you very much... my friend.

Harry I am so sorry you had that experience in the abuse and beaten you took. No young man deserves that. There is a lot of injustice in the church because of these non Christian men that should not be in the church because they are just evil. Jesus would have never condoned that kind of treatment. These evil doers ruin it for the good churches, the good people that serve. There are many good, and a few bad apples...

Hi Michael i hope you are doing well as you are also so special, always putting others before yourself. Harry is one of my dear friends, but I do not know anything, we all go off soup for one or other reason, and i have just read your beautiful touching poem to him which brought me to tears. Thank you so much Victor, for your prayers. I have managed my health better, and I am feeling better as I have done research on my issues extensively. I am really surprised my Doctor's knowledge in my condition was limited. I have added my research to her prognosis and the two of us have come together with a plan. We think of Dr's as all knowing practitioners but that is not the case sometimes. I am very grateful for her as my Doctor. She truly cares about others. I was concern about Harry when Mandy put in her blog that Harry was back in the Hospital. I and many others on the Soup are waiting for an update on Harry. I hope my fellow Soupers pray for Harry on his health and return to writing Poetry. Thank you Victor for your Support, it means a lot.

Considering his lengthy stay in the Hospital before and returning back, I am presuming it is a serious condition. I just hope and pray he gets through all this. I was watching the Buffalo Bills Football game and I thought of how great today since I'm a Big Bills Fan enjoying a Sunny day in Upstate New York with my wife and Dog Tavi.
