A Little Jewelry Box
As a very young child, the little jewelry box was just for me. My loving aunt had a box filled with her love, beautifully gift wrapped and mailed to me. All year I waited for her loving box, I always opened it with a surprise. I always knew what was inside, a new five dollar bill was waiting for me. This little jewelry box filled-wrapped with her love, meant more to me than the whole world.
She lived so very far away, I did not see her very often. With each little jewelry box, I just knew she was here next to me. The many miles just disappeared, her love I could hold dear.
She is now in heaven where she belongs, I will never forget her little jewelry box from each year.
