A Lifetime, Plus His
Time did stop
Like most think it would
Feelings of hurt
Like most of them should
The Path was taken
Change had been made
Everyone could see
The light that had came
No one could tell
That so soon, without warning
The light would burn out
Without even knowing
The tracks had stopped then
The trail came to an end
Without thoughts being thought of
With pain, and the rain to begin
If only I'd known
If only signs would have shown
I would have made that last kiss
Last a lifetime, plus his
