Only twenty six years young she gazes from her picture oval frame like a cameo should hang round a neck not on a granite slab when the soft breeze blows the branches shading her wave her hair hangs still, forever when family come to visit the only smile is hers For contest '10 lines, 5 words III' , sponsor Laura Loo March 18th 2018

Thanks Andrea, the girl in my poem lies in a grave opposite my mother. She smiles every time I pass. A tragic loss. Looking forward to seeing your poem, I know it will be a good 'un. Viv x

The smile in pictures, should remind us we will see loved ones again. Besides heavenly resurrection, Bible confirms also an earthly one. Taking in knowledge of this fact provides hope and a smile tears can flow over until then. Hope judge enjoys it as much as I do. bbn
