A Letter To My Body

Dear Body, I don't know if you have heard
My eyes are going blurred, it's absurd
Now I can hardly read crosswords.

Aches and pains every time it rains
Arthritis running through my veins, please explain
How I wish, you could refrain
I need my youth to remain.

This thing called old age
Have me writing you a letter of complaint
Dear body you have to agree
Old age is a pain.
