Autumn spins a kaleidoscope of leaves
as brisk breezes play havoc with her hair.
And immersed in Autumn's sweet, musty scent,
she inhales pungent whiffs of fragrant air.

Dried-out colored leaves rain down everywhere,
as colors get mixed by a frisky breeze.
Autumn's aroma is oft bittersweet,
a subtle reminder; of Summer's end.
As colors get mixed by a frisky breeze,
orange pigments frame the land as abstract.
A subtle reminder of summer's end;
when squirrels begin to gather up nuts.
