A Judas Kiss

Author Dana Redricks May 19, 2018 Betrayal to its lowest point A kiss from a friend One hand embracing you While the other hand is stabbing you in the back As Christian we are taught to turn the other cheek I do forgive but it's hard to forget I'm Finding it hard to know who to trust that is what my mind is telling me but then I receive a gentle reminder telling me vengeance is mine declared the the Lord Emotional wombs are hard to heal and there is no pill to to ease the pain It feels as if someone has ripped out my heart and taken it and smashed it to the floor but just like everything it takes time to heal to be able to let it go and to learn from each lesson and to continue to keep counting my blessings
