A Jewel Came Knocking Wbm

A long-lost friend came knocking at our door Phone rang, device pinged; those things came before -- While our friend kept on waiting We were 'communicating' -- Friend up and left -- wouldn't wait any more... I will not spend much time with someone who keeps looking at their pings and dings while we were supposed to be "together" for there is no communication happening when the pings and dings are taking all their attention. Well said. I do not believe teachers need phones at school either, but all do. And the children are used to yelling "There is your phone!" which makes me CRAZY, for I think it is a detriment to education in every way.

I'm so glad that I don't have a smartphone. Occasionally I feel like a dinosaur, but at least I'm a focused dinosaur! LOL. ~ gw

Brilliant Gershon, I get infuriated when I'm talking to someone and their phone goes and they say "ill just get this" and you feel a fool, now I just walk away, in my book its damn rude, call me old fashioned too. Rant over, good luck. Tom
