A Is For Abolish

A is for abolish housework forever
Make it illegal to clean everything
Graduating college engineers clever
Do your part, design houses where clean clings

Maybe a strong wind tunnel designed right
Could blow the dust out once or twice each week
While owners go out dancing for a night
Or a shredder next to a chute when bills pique

Engineers design concrete houses sleek
With built in water cleaning system fine
Compartments styled water proof with mystique
Each to house valuables closely enshrined

Let's abolish housework, freedom we all need
Unrestrained abandoned to write poetry plead

You do have a sense of humor, Sara. "Make it illegal to clean everything" ... probably not a necessary law in my room ... I would never break it. LOL! I do love your last line, Sara. Would be a dream. Glad you liked my Love Without Hope poem, and had it place :)

Amazing poem. How I can relate to this verse. It's wonderful how you explained it so articulately and genuinely. I do housework around the place and the dust bit I can empathize on 100%. You did a fantastic job, writing this. Keep up the writing! - J W Earnings ~~~~~~~

wow, Sara. I LOVE this. I didn't know you felt the same way about cleaning as I did. Too bad this contest will likely never get judged. I cannot see hide or hair of Freddie around.

Well, I enjoyed writing it whether it gets judged or not..I did notice that there was no sponsor's name on the contest..Right now I am more worried about the cut where Bull bit me yesterday. Sara
