A Holy War, I Think Not

There is no such thing as a Holy War… Holy means something that comes from God. Does He condone, leave them dead in the streets? Stripping them of life, and all that they had, Taking away all hope, as hate repeats? How about a War of Fairness and Hope… Taking up arms to protect our ‘home’, And only firing for our own defense. Never in anger on the streets to roam, And never using God as a pretense! Instead you should strive for a War of Words… Opening your ears, as your mouth is closed, So you can hear their cries of pain to heed. To hear others, with solutions proposed, And stretch out a hand for those in need. God gave you words to learn how to love, “A reverence for life” inspired from above.
