A Hermit's Anxiety
A Hermit's Anxiety
We all need to do what is best for us
We all need faith.... and to love in trust
We all need to offer a hand in hope
To be understanding and not to poke
I have never felt as I feel right now
We all need to learn to forgive again
We all need the truth.... defining a friend
We all need to give from our naked selves
(As for) continuing our growth, we must leave our shells
I have never understood this before now
For most of my life, my shell was too tight
I was always trying to do what's right
So many would tell me, and so many used shame
(and) Without naming names, only He was right
We all need to learn to accept ourselves
And to do what's right, but according to God
We all need to learn to offer a hand
To help those in need and know when to stand
I have never felt [as free] as I feel right now!
