A HEANEY EKPHRASIS Lyrical in beauty,dug from the depths of the past. A storyteller, articulate in elegaic stanza writing words to last.Of farm life and childhood, deep in Irish terra firma in which he and his poetry stood. Sara ,Heaney passed away this year perhaps one of the greatest poets in the English language ,I especially liked his early poetry in particular 'Gutteral Muse ' and 'Mid-term break' You may hear him recite on youtube as you can my offerings.Happy 2014.rgds Brian
