A Green World

Red coals in a green world, fanning live embers. The steam that goes forth are as poisonous as peroxide, and yet we sit tight, adding more coal to the embers. The steam that goes forth, goes no farther But hangs above us and shall soon rain on us more lethal droplets than the green gasses we emit. Then the oceans will rage andseek propitiation in our homes. Our landscape will dry and our hearts shall dry with it. Our green world then will turn red and shall consume us. But what shall become of our children? So now, let us quench the coals that burn And kiss our little green world, for in it is our paradise, and the beauty of Eden's bloom. None shall we see if we search else where. None else can we call home 'cept our pretty green world
