A beautiful picture in my mind of a bird gliding over the calm waves as he searches for a fish. God Bless, JB

I have never written a Haiku. That does not however stop me from loving to read them. This poem shall be my teacher for now. I can now visualize this pelican and the cool breezes of the bay..Beautifully descriptive

How many did you catch and what kind? I like to go fishing. Enjoyed reading your work. I was delighted that you dropped by my POTD. Sara

Sara, I'm afraid the closest I've come to fishing is writing this poem! Ha! My husband is the fisherman but he's not too lucky. Thanks for stopping by!

Brought back memories of the seventeen mile drive on California's Pacific Coast, pelicans and seals everywhere. Tom

It's amazing how shore birds can find fish as they fly over the ocean's surface. Great haiku, Kim! Hope you catch a big one the next time out. Hugs, Carolyn
