A Glutton's Plight

My neighbor is a real glutton
At a feast, he gobbled much mutton,
Besides other meat,
Ate piles of sweet!
Now his trousers, he can’t button!!

Well, it is a sad plight for your main character in your Limerick. Sometimes a person needs to see a doctor to rule out some serious physical diseases that can cause a person to overeat. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara
