A Glimpse of Tomorrow
I look up into the sky,
of endless blue and white.
Wisps of clouds passing by,
in the dim morning light.
The horizon, so far away,
where the sky meets the sea.
Mixing colors, blue, green and gray.
Nature painting with glee.
Secrets lie above and below.
Mysteries since time began.
Answers we will never know,
but all part of the plan.
I seek a glimpse of tomorrow,
if only one thing to reveal.
But an ever present shadow,
has the power to conceal.
The answers continue to elude me.
perhaps I will never know.
For I am unable to see,
what the heavens refuse to show.
