Laughing eyes soften to caress a longing of the soul – by poet
His eyes whisper to me
Of warmth, joy, compassion
Feelings that are everlasting
His hope breathe gentleness through me
With a caress of sincerity and serenity
That soars across the feelings within
His music speaks more than lyrics to me
Embracing me with insight and a dance
That reflects all the joy I can have
His wonder fills me with pleasure
Ecstasy that enlightens and enriches
Frees my mind from desolation
His warmth holds me within its grasp
Soothing and comforting all my anxieties
With gladness that leaves me so enraptured
His faith reassures me of complete grace
Laughter that assures me of my place
In a heaven who is there, awaiting.
His song leaves me aching for more
Rhythm and soul, shining life forevermore
Through sunshine, rain and even the storms
His love breaks through my control
Promising me elation I can’t imagine or know
Without the pure love that he always shows
His heart brings me through the sorrow
As I cling to his light, his laughter, his love
I hang on his every word as I learn…
Love like this needs no words
It only needs the gift of time and trust
To give to the heir a heart that is strong and good
A heart that gives from it’s core
Love that lives on to be a light to all who know
Love like this is a wonder from God’s best
Sing, dance, continue to breath in
The beauty of a love that lives freely
To give from the center – kindness so rich
It is filled with pure bliss
Love like this is strong, faithful and complete
Only God can give it and it is such sweet relief
To know that it comes alive when its given without merit
With a heart that isn’t selfish or greedy
A heart that gives freely
Love that lives
To be given
A gift
