A Game of Chess

A president who feeds us lies, domestic terrorism on the rise. Foreign governments continuing to interfere with the freedoms we hold dear. A pandemic way out of control, each day bringing a new death toll. Families battling job loss and eviction, many succumbing to suicide and addiction. With days to our election in the land of the "free" and Republicans rush through their Supreme Court nominee. Oblivious to the public's reaction they push ahead with this brash action. Like a game of chess with the queen in their hands they'll soon have control of the highest court in the land.
