Ripe, juicy fruits and passing blooms, Grow here in the walled garden wild, Permeated with pungent floral fumes, Deep hues where orange sun smiled! Red strawberries and blueberries too, Blackberries and two big apple trees, Buttercups, red roses and iris so blue, As daisies tango of an evening breeze! Lilacs, pale lilies and orange marigold, And plump, rich, tempting raspberries, Forever brimming in old sunshine gold, With birdsong drifting from pine trees!
