A Friend With Hazel Eyes
A friend with hazel eyes
on moon-lit brows.
Those grey shadows of her life,
in endless strife.
Who knows of all that glows
within her eyes?
They seem to say...
If you only knew what she's been through.
Something more
about her nose.
You know she knows...
just what it's all about.
Of endless gold dust
in her hair.
And just to know
that I'll be there.
To share our
journey...
to the end,
and not pretend.
We wouldn't hide
all those feelings...
deep, inside.
not any more!
