A Friend In Need

A friend in need is humble And puts others before themselves, And Will be there to pick you up When your world is tumbling down, It doesn't matter what adversity You may be going through, They have an understanding heart And are there to comfort you, They will not walk behind you And let you go through life alone, They will not walk in front of you And lead you into the unknown, They will walk beside you And always be your friend, They are Angels of mercy A gift from God above, Who sends them to comfort you With the goodness of his love.

This is so true Don.I had a friend she was very sick,even though she was not feeling well, she always cheered me up. She passed away a year ago from bladder cancer. i miss her. I was there for her as well. Have a nice evening my friend.

Thank you for liking my poem. I wrote this for a dear friend who was like a guardian angel when I had a car accident from a heart attack. I was there for her when she passed away from cancer.

Thank you for liking my poem which I wrote in memory of a dear friend who was like my guardian angel when I had my heart attack in April 2015. She passed away in June 2016, and I wrote the poem to honor her in memory.
