A Feel For History
Are people who sense a direction in history,
and before history,
throughout prehistory,
who feel their way through organic-systemic evolution,
merely progressive polypathic mystics,
not quite exegetically conservative enough
to color only within borders of a better nurtured Tradition?
Are those who just know history progresses
perhaps matriarchs of nurture,
and/or patriarchs of self-empowerment,
but either way or both,
not speaking of rationally deductive science and math;
not objective
about this objective they sense in their own history
and the larger stage of Earth's history?
If such polypaths of history
become prophets of doom,
then we dismiss them as too pessimistic;
not objective.
If multicultural cooperativists, syncretists, integrationists,
become psychologists
of positively benign divine nature,
then we dismiss these as too optimistic;
also not objective.
Deductively objective is in-between,
although perhaps no less polypathic.
Or, rather more creolizing democratic,
including such systems as rivers,
and elements,
like water and air and soil and fire
in their deranging need to become bipolar balanced,
balancing double-binds of,
I cannot become that,
as I am this,
nor this,
for I have already been that...
All of which is and is notnot true and false
depending on whether one is a progressive positivist
or a conserving negativist,
and/or polypathically in-between.
All of the above
should one become a regenerative WinWin positivist
absorbing LoseLose appositional positions,
landing where we midway meet
our Alpha progressive LeftMinds
with our Omega conserve against loss of RightBody exegetical
traditional
deductive beliefs in single-pointed Truths.
Beliefs such as
If sacred, then not secular, and vice versa.
If divine, then not merely humane, and vice versa.
If inductive, then not deductively supported, and vice versa.
If mythos, then not logos, and vice versa.
If interdependent universe, then not zero-empty entropy,
and vice versa.
Yet midway between lie appositional hybrids
between each Yang with counter-point cosine Yin,
as light harbors darkness
and warmth invites memories of cold.
To paraphrase physicist Steven Weinberg,
The more the universe seems integratively comprehensible,
conscious-able,
the more it also seems double-binding and edged
by zero-sum pointless primal reiterative relationship.
While Tao is devoid of regenerative meaning,
Yin (0) empty,
with Yang Interdependent Full-Octave,
unfold and reweave all regenerative positive progress
over degenerative conservation of negative stuckness in double-binds
appositionally co-arising history's double-pointedness
of both becoming Yang and being Yin,
WinWin health-wealth optimizers
with objective nutritional, and not toxic, objectives.
How could anyone who does not sense history's democratizing ecopolitical direction,
objectively rediscover
both progressing freedom away from totalitarian monopoly games
and conserving freedom to become whom we co-discover
we most need and want to become
within our co-empathic trust of each Other?
How could a mere relativist discover any self and other regenerative objective
midway between
prophets of nihilistic Win/Lose Earth pathology
and triumphalist matriarchal cooperative WinWin nirvana?
Future, already present as embryonic-phylogenic promising
climates of Earth's robust DNA health and safety memory.
