A Dream

I dreamt I flew upwards
toward the twinkling shining stars.
But who was I?
An exotic insect painted in various hues,
Iridescent wings strong like an eagle.
I flew high. Flew as I could,
Up towards the Milky way,
Back to Saturn jumping from ring to ring
Down to Venus, would I find love?
So I watched the universe revolving,
observe the brilliance of novas
Fell into a deadly black hole
Only to wake up in bed,
With to a silver moonbeam
Shining straight in my eyes.

A beautiful dream, Victor ! I often have such dreams of flying in the sky like a bird. But you have gone far too high to watch galaxies and super novas.... :) :)

I think that would be a really cool dream to have but I don't think I ever imagined myself as an insect or animal, only as someone younger or different looking. NIce imagery

Your fantasy world is both inviting and alluring. I'd never come home if that is how it is up there. I know that feeling of waking up, lol, oi my aching bones, have a beautiful restful day, look up, there is much to see up there, more then down here, Much love xo
