A Dove Lost Her Love

A handsome face clouded with pain My Beloved's gone, blood flowed down the drain My fragile sensibility got shattered And my heart got scattered! Lost and lamenting, all alone To cold and fright I became prone! No more warm wishes and wet kisses Only the pain, like the adder it hisses! Cruel fate, hard life, no more tender Oh What a sad way to end this wonder! That handsome face, my eternal beloved Your scent shall forever be coved! Pray, Time, Run fast! Take me to that place, There where my Beloved is waiting with grace! 05 June 2012

This is a sorrowful write, Anoucheka. The couplet at the end gives it an aspect of finality. Think you that where they wait, they are promted to watch the clock in anticipation? Perhaps "grace" gives the sad stricken soul strength where love will persevere. Best wishes, Mikki
