A Dog's Mess

Archie and Merlin woke up early today And wandered outside where crap they would lay All through the lawn scattered amongst flowers Are the remnants of meals eaten, devoured The turds brown or green depending on diet Some there so long even flies will not try it Send the kids out to get them with shovel and bag And pitch them in field that the farmer will drag Got to keep the yard clear or you’ll feel the wrath Of two mastiffs deciding to mess on the path
