A Different Type of Christmas

Old Santa is minus one reindeer So he’s fitting Blitzen for headgear Seems Rudolph has fled But don’t be misled He’ll come back when Fauci says, “All clear” - - - - This Christmas will not be the same Pandemic must shoulder the blame From Comet to Cupid The deer are not stupid “On strike” has become their last name - - - - The forecast for Christmas seems dreary No snow, once again, makes me teary The Florida heat Won’t even make sleet Of hot weather, I have grown weary

The picture is hilarious! I don't celebrate the holidays but I can see how it would be so very different for those who do. I'm in Southern Louisiana so I feel you about the heat Carolyn!

It's amazing to see funny photos online that seem to work with poems. Oh, you are definitely in an area where you have a warm climate. Still, you sometimes have snow. Christmas is "complicated" in the South. Thanks for reading, FJ.

Cleverly articulated, fun read Carolyn. I like the credit you gave to Dr. Fauci. It's truly different this year, but signs are there it shall pass when people are vaccinated. Enjoy the warmth in Florida--stay safe my friend.
