A Desert Song

A desert song One day in Arizona Trod a girl named Fiona Her flock she led towards a pool to find a drink sublime and cool All day she walked with head held high Beneath the big blue sky The ray's of the sun beat But she did not retreat On and on she did escort through the desert hot And down the creek they went Never forgetting their intent But alas they soon befell What fate would call a spell For reasons not being plain They never returned again
