A Delicious Deep Dish

.

                      In her panties
                        pardon me
                       (i did mean
                          pantry)
                 her finger pointed to
                        the cherry

             Mine all suddenly altered
                         imbued
                     praying to be
                  the benefactor of
                        that fruit
             'mongst the dimness of
                 that pantry's light

           After sum sweet sibilate'n
her point was to the flower
                    i meant flour
                       yes i did

Ah yes, the dreaded Freudian slip - knowing you, Sir James, methinks you purposely did slip. And, oh, what a dainty dish did flower my mind. Love, daver

I'm betting you 'deflowered' whatever dish she showed you, and I don't think it was your heart that exploded. Delightful poem.
