A Deep Reflection

If you looked in my eyes what would you see? Would you see the pain that I have always known? If you look upon my words the pain is clearly written there but it is mingled with all the love I still have in my heart though it's been crushed.

The voice in this piece speaks with such clarity, assured of where they have been and where they are going. Love the pain and emotion in the piece..I know its weird to say I love the pain, but the pain makes the poem work..Good work Robin. Chris.
