Good evening Anne-Lise. It is our national holiday today where everyone gets drunk! Sadly, I'm only on my first glass on wine. I love your visits because you bring such warmth with you. Thank you.

I love your first line, Jean. I fell in love with this actor right away. Very unfortunate that he died tragically of a foot infection. LOL Well done. Congrats.

I'm just delighted you could follow my train of thought Line. In fact he survived, thanks to the nifty nurse.

My dearest Anna-Lise, you are too kind. I feel bad that I have not been here as much as I should. The Soup has been a wonderful place of refuge for me, thanks to you and others like you. I have renewed my membership recently for another two years, so I do intend to post plenty of poems. Not all as crazy as above I hope.

Jean, I see you stuck with lots of A words. Which made your poem quite unique. I loved how you ended Adios Amigo!! You even got in some Spanish words! This was a very difficult challenge, Will post mine later today. Hope you are having a merry XMas season!

first a response to your knitting comment. The only thing I learned to knit were little booties but I forgot how to finish them off!! OR how to start them. I was very slow in my church program learning to knit. Those kinds of things boggle my mind, but the actual process of knitting, once I learned it, was so fun to do! Now to see your poem.

I'm so lazy Arturo. I printed off five letter words and could not get past the letter A. Good luck in your endeavour and thank you for your comment.
