A Cry Stifled

   	       A small voice
               squeezed between
               brownstones
               a cry stifled

               who would tell
               its pain
               caught in the
               cruel plans
               of architects

Gershon my Dear friend. These architects control and create the chaos that we the people suffer from. Just stopping by my friend miss you and the rest of the special writers that I follow. I have a few more projects and soon I will be back and try and catch up on all the great ideas and poetry that I have missed, from you and those I follow. I hope you are well and are enjoying life with your family and friends. Talk to you soon my friend. Shalom.

Well, well, well, as I live and breathe. Shiver me timbers and blow me down, mate. It's Admiral Michael, back for a speedy 'tor' of P.S. before going below deck again.... Will be happy to see you surface again, Michael. ~ Anchors aweigh, Gershon

Please submit your answers by midnight tonight, or I'm afraid that I shall have to paddle your little ______, 'til it turns the color of ketchup. ~ Mister Gradgrind

Upon reading, 3 interpretations hit me (yes, that quick); two of them are literal vs metaphoric and the last just CayCay imagination stuff (I have a surplus). Either way this poem works, makes one think, stirs up serious gray wonderment that is ponder worthy.
