A Commemoration For Sunshine Smile

I have been reading her poetry for so many years that I lose count She is a Norwegian woman with a great capacity for great poetry Ever since I've known her she has proven to be a positive influence on this site, spreading nothing but good will and encouragement. It saddened me when I noticed that her soup mail and her comment both have been blocked. I assumed someone hurt that splendid soul It brings me sadness to see how many sensitive poets have left this site And on this day, I wish to thank S.S. for always being a true friend... Her name wears her well and her poetry only reflects her sensitivity We need to enrich our site with love and compassion not resentment If I could tell her how much her comments along the years have meant? But I am sure she knows this, " in commemoration of her gentle Spirit, I ask, If you love Sunshine Smile and respect her as much as I do then say so Leave her a message on my comment box and hopefully she'll know Great poets theres many, but great human beings like her are rare S. - Oh... my dear Pixie ... my rose friend ... I didn't leave the soup ... - You touch me with tears with this writing - I haven't had much time for soup these last two months ... my dad is in a death phase ... now before Christmas he got morphine pump to relieve pain ... he's been stable for Christmas ... but his life is about to end - Thank you so much for your beautiful words ... they warm my heart - Best wishes for a peaceful and happy new year, my friend :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

I've known Sunshine Smile for a while now, she is a fine poet here on soup. Always leaves encouraging comments. I hope she is not leaving soup, you've written a fine tribute to her Pixie. Tom

Are you sure Pixie? I just checked on her page--I saw both active. Either way, I share your sentiments--she is a gem--she cares about the world and it shows in her poems.
