Sorry sweet cat,
just too little.
You were found in a cardboard box,
twined with your sister and brother;
taken too soon from your mother,
you tried to get out with loud knocks.
Twined with your sister and brother,
in a box taped shut just like locks;
someone heard sad meows by the rocks,
taken too soon from your mother.
Sorry sweet cat,
twined with your sister and brother;
named you my favorite bloom- Phlox,
taken too soon from your mother;
just too little.
Just too little,
sorry sweet cat.
