A Carnival Night
The joyful moon dazzled beneath that clear sky,
A sharp breeze waved by so freely,
In my wine glass, vibrant laser lights shone,
Rare ripples spread, really the music wasn't lone.
I lifted my champagne, I sank,
Your smell lingered in the aroma, it nourished my lung,
A taste so unique between the icy particles,
It's you who danced in those colourful bubbles.
A drink so smooth got us high,
We got into the music now not shy,
A rare short lively night, but long gone,
A carnival night, it was one.
