A Cambert and a Bread Loaf
They sat at the portal doors of their log cabin,
A beautiful table was set with a cambert cheese and a white loaf of bread,
Shared by companions and friends,
A pitcher of white milk.
An evening of song could guest,
You could hear the accordion and the harp.
A night of song could come next,
The love of music permeated the walls of the cabin.
God guests amongst friends,
The church on the nearby mountain.
Where the village guests and the husband and wife marry,
God's dream becoming a reality.
