A Brighter Tomorrow

When lies and mistrust infect a relationship; it falters: becomes weak, and eventually dies. And the shock of its passing haunts your thoughts; dragging you to the brink of despair. As a river of trickling tears slowly gathers in strength: feelings of love linger in the cracks of your broken heart. And you're devastated by feelings of helplessness, and abandonment. Sometimes, fate can be fickle, and non-responsive to your wishes and dreams: leaving you stranded in yesterday's shadow. And you are unable to see the light of a brighter tomorrow shining just beyond the horizon: but it's there: nonetheless.

Forgive, Forget and Full Force Forward. We cannot control the actions and words of others, we can get bogged down or we can learn from it and move on. Thought filled piece, Emile. Congratulations!
