A Bright Future

The fallen leaves
of yesterday;
scattered and gone
but not forgotten,
as their colourful brilliance
forever paint
our memories,
lighting the way
for the new blossoms
of tomorrow.

Amen. I can not explain to you how much that speaks to my life at the moment. With 2015 almost gone and 2016 knocking on the door I'm ready to put behind me all the negativity and looking forward to what the new year brings. New season, new beginnings.
